This contemporary polki necklace showcases a beautiful play of iconic Indian motifs. The cascading curtain of pearls adds an elevated layer of femininity and grace.
Handcrafted in gold, Parvani features pairs of birds, dressed in blue, holding a polki/uncut-diamond crescent moon between them. All the gemstones are kundan-set using the traditional jadai technique. A cascade of pearl strings falls gracefully from the feet of the birds, terminating at drops of cabochon tourmalines and clusters of seed pearls and enamel beads. The patwa chord from which the pendant is suspended is traditional to Indian jewelry-making. A statement piece, it deserves to be worn stand-alone!
